The next-gen Nissan Teana (aka Maxima) should arrive in 2013 and according to BC, it will be a hybrid with power coming from a 2.5L engine. The power output of the engine will be 150 ps (20.0 kgm of torque) and the fuel efficiency is estimated to be 25.0 km/L.

Nissan's Teana (ティアナ) is a large sedan available in Japan (basis of Mitsuoka's Galue) and some South Asian markets, e.g. Thailand and Malaysia, and a number of them have been spotted in UAE (photo at the top) being transported to Nissan's Jebel Ali HQ.
The specific cars are powered by a 2.0 L engine, producing 136 hp and coupled to a CVT gearbox. Now, it remains unknown whether Nissan plans to sell Teana in UAE or they are just conducting hot weather testing.

Mitsuoka has redesigned its flagship model, called Galue (ガリュー), and I have to admit that I like it. For sure, Mitsuoka's designs are not everyone's cup of tea... but they are definitely very special. Oh, and if the rear lights look familiar to you, that's because they come from Fiat's 500 model!The basis is Nissan's Teana (日産ティアナ) model and the car comes with two petrol engines. A 2.5L R4 engine and a 3.5L V6 engine. Both engines come coupled to a CVT gearbox, although a six-speed manual gearbox is available with the 3.5L engine. A 4WD version is also available with the 2.5L engine.Sales start on 12th November and prices start from 3,680,000 ¥.
